Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. You'll discover a pretty lake called Hewett Lake near Mayer State Park, and Cousins Country Inn is a great place to get some rest. Columbia River Gorge Camping is a delightful campground here, and there are other sites here than Mayer State Park, for example Chamberlain Lake. A wonderful close by hotel is Cousin's Country Inn, and you can stay the night at Dallesport Mobile Home Park. Mayer State Park has great outdoors recreation, so you can enjoy yourself while here. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back many times. If you're visiting Mayer State Park from Lyle, you won't be the only one, and do check out Ketchum Pond, it's a delightful lake. A short journey to Martin Spring is always worthwhile; while you're here, you might as well go to Rowena Dell. Dry warm beds await you at Lyle Hotel, and the panorama of beautiful McCall Point is nice. Mayer State Park is a charming sector of wilderness that is popular with folks from all over.
