If you're visiting Mayer State Park from Lyle, you won't be the only one, and do check out Ketchum Pond, it's a delightful lake. A short journey to Martin Spring is always worthwhile; while you're here, you might as well go to Rowena Dell.
Dry warm beds await you at Lyle Hotel, and the panorama of beautiful McCall Point is nice. Mayer State Park is a charming sector of wilderness that is popular with folks from all over.
