During the days of summer highs here at Lowell State Park get   into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lowell State Park are in the 30's. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Dexter Dam; get dripping wet paddling on McKenzie River. Lakes? Sure, Fall Creek Lake is in the vicinity, and paddling on Willamette River - Middle Fork is so much fun. Hiking along the Eagles Rest Trail is delightful fun.
