| | Take a hike on the Eagles Rest Trail, and paddling on Willamette River - Middle Fork is so much fun. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Central Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is great on Fall Creek, and you're sure to encounter some cheerful folks from Lowell here. At Lowell State Park you find plenty of outdoors recreation, so you could have plenty of fun.
While you're here at Lowell State Park, you could also take a look at beautiful Dexter Reservoir; glide down the rapids of McKenzie River in a kayak. |
Fun pastimes are plentiful; there's always something for young and old to take pleasure in. Lowell State Park is a pleasant wilderness area where everybody has a pleasant time.
Camping at Upper End Campground is always a good experience. For the duration of the summer, highs
| typically are in the 80's at Lowell State Park. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lowell State Park plunge into the 30's. That right there is heaps of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. At Dexter Dam close to Lowell State Park there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and let's not forget Noisy Creek which is a stream that you may run into while you're here.

going for a hike along the Hardesty Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. A large amount of rainfall falls at Lowell State Park; December is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest.
