Yeon State Park you come across the Tanner Butte Trail which is a great hiking trail. Columbia Gorge Motel is a pleasant location to get some rest; you get a wonderful sight of Wauneka Point from here. The scenery at B and W Pond Dam Number One right next door to John B. Yeon State Park is beautiful, and a quick trip to Moffett Creek is absolutely a perfect idea. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this     place.
