Near John B. Yeon State Park you come across a golf course called Beacon Rock Golf Course, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Trout Creek.
John B. Yeon State Park is a pretty wet place commonly with a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that rains the most; July is when it's the driest. Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Ridell Lake is a great lake next to John B. Yeon State Park; no need to travel far to stop at interesting stuff like Little Beacon Rock. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at John B. Yeon State Park. Good hiking is available along the Big Bend Trail, and Hardy Falls is a picturesque spot to stop at while you're at John B. Yeon State Park.
John B. Yeon State Park is a popular destination for the residents of North Bonneville. Looking for some flowing water? Try Moffett Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around John B. Yeon State Park; Rock Creek Trail is a great local trail. Camping at Bridge Of The Gods Motel and RV is always a delightful experience, and Little Sandy River is a good whitewater spot close by.
Metasequoia Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at; if you need a site to stay Bonneville Hot Springs Resort is a tremendous choice. Fun pursuits are abundant; there's always something for everyone.
McCord Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here, and going for a hike on the Tanner Cutoff Trail is always a wonderful adventure. From John B. Yeon State Park you obtain a nice sight of Nesmith Point; Hardy Creek is close to John B. Yeon State Park and is always a joy to stop by. John B. Yeon State Park is a wonderful wilderness neighborhood that is popular with people from far and near.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything John B. Yeon State Park has to offer, you can camp at Beacon Rock Resort, and why not take a little tour to Woodward Creek since you're here. Man, is there a load of cool stuff to do in the neighborhood of John B. Yeon State Park. John B. Yeon State Park is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Lewis and Clark RV Park is a fine place to camp nearby, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Stebbins Creek. John B. Yeon State Park has good outdoors recreation, so you can have fun during your stay.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Lake Bonneville right next door to John B. Yeon State Park, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rock Creek - Columbia River Tributary. A trip to John B. Yeon State Park is a wonderful choice when you've gotta get out. For the period of the summer months here at John B. Yeon State Park, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows at John B. Yeon State Park through the winter generally sink into the 30's.
