Jasper State Park is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July. That right there is heaps of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Camping at Jasper State Park is great fun, Chalet Village is a great local campground; a great nearby hotel is Mitchell Motel. There is perfect outdoors recreation at Jasper State Park, so you could enjoy yourself while you're here.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Central Cascade Range. Wallace Creek is a tremendous local stream; there's whitewater on McKenzie River for all you adrenaline people. Jasper State Park is a picturesque part of wilderness that everyone enjoys. Stay the night at Deerwood RV Park, and after a long day outdoors Village Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two.
Looking for some flowing water? Try Hills Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Jasper State Park has to offer, you can camp at Sherwood Forest Koa. Jasper State Park is a pleasant location to camp, Dexter Shores Mobile Home and RV Park is a pleasant location. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Fall Creek; Best Western Creswell Inn is a good spot to get some rest.
