    getting warmed up. Some of the water close by flows, like Little Fall Creek, and do go to Fall Creek Lake, it's a pretty lake. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Dexter State Park; the nighttime is a little chillier of course, typically
in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Dexter State Park descend into the 30's.
Looking for some flowing water? Try Anthony Creek, and Green Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Hiking along the Eagles Rest Trail is good fun, and get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of McKenzie River. There are scores of amusing things to do for the whole family to get pleasure from.
Having a magnificent time in the Central Cascade Range is uncomplicated.
 
Take a little spree to Wagner Creek if you're here at Dexter State Park, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Row River. The grand splendor of Dexter State Park is there for your viewing happiness.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. The panorama of Parvin Butte from Dexter State Park is wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dexter State Park has to offer, you can camp at Dexter Shores Mobile Home and RV Park. Here at Dexter State Park there are plenty of people from Dexter; a lake nearby is Lookout Point Lake. Dexter State Park is a tremendous place for a spree when you have got to spend some time in the outdoors.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the vicinity of Dexter State Park. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Willamette River - Middle Fork, and if you come at the right time of year, Fall Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. Castle Creek is a wonderful site to visit, and why not stop at Dexter Dam since you're here. It's a popular place to go to for people coming from Dexter.
