Hanging Rock State Park is a common place to spend time for folks travelling from Danbury. Take a side spree to Newman Branch; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Hanging Rock Trail. Hidden Falls is always fun to check out; on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Cascade Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. A short tour to Upper Cascade
    Falls is always worthwhile; camping is available at Hanging Rock State Park.
Paddling on Dan River is so much fun, and needless to say Camp Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth checking out. Window Falls is a glorious local attraction; you're sure to come across some smiling
people from Danbury here. Econo Lodge King is a tremendous spot to get some rest; in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dan River.
If you're keen on cool geologic traits, try Hanging Rock; close by you come across the Cooks Wall Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Hanging Rock State Park has good outdoors recreation that you could make use of. Hanging Rock State Park is a good place for a spree when you need to spend some time in the fresh air.

through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Hanging Rock State Park are in the 20's. If you came for an overnight stay Moores Springs Campground on the Dan River is a great spot to camp, and Big Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby. The Moores Knob Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Hanging Rock State Park; swing by Buck Island Creek it's a good place to have a look at.
Hanging Rock State Park sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most while January is generally the driest month. Hanging Rock State Park is a beautiful place that is popular with folks from all over. There are lots of amusing pastimes to satisfy everybody.
Indian Creek is a tremendous local stream. The prettiness of Hanging Rock State Park is there for your viewing gratification. Sunset Park Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and Taylor Dam is striking.
