Harriman State Park is a pretty place that everybody likes. This is a nice vicinity for folks who like lakes. Little Long Pond is a lake close by, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Ramapo River. Head up to Sterling Forest
and strap some skis to your feet, and The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge is a golf course nearby.

got to get out of the house. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Green Swamp is right nearby, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Inn is a glorious choice.
Fun things to do are bountiful; there's always something to gratify everybody. Harriman State Park is a common
place to spend time for people from Southfields. Going for a hike on the Woodtown Trail is always a great adventure, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Upper Lake Cohasset.
Go for a hike on the Sherwood Path, and from Harriman State Park you get a fine vista of Pine Swamp Mountain. Harriman State Park has pretty nature scenery for your viewing comfort.
