Camping at Herron Store is always a brilliant experience, and a pleasant
site for whitewater paddling is Rio Chama. So much amusing stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too pleasant to be true. Why not camp at Twin Rivers Trailer Park while you're here at Heron Lake State Park, and at Heron Lake State Park you can catch a glimpse of
Sawmill Mesa. During the summer months highs here at Heron Lake State Park reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Heron Lake State Park are in the 0's. It's a popular place to get away to for folks getting here from Chama. Little Creel Resort is a wonderful local campground, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not go to Heron Reservoir. The prettiness of Heron Lake State Park is there
for your viewing pleasure. Heron Lake State Park is a beautiful site that everybody enjoys. Camping is available at Stone House Lodge, and there are plenty of folks from Chama here. Heron Lake State Park is a tremendous site for a trip when you need to get out of the house.
