If you need a spot to stay A Top Notch Inn is a great choice; Peabody River - West Branch has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. The Nineteenmile Brook Trail is a splendid hiking trail near White Mountain National Forest; White Mountain National Forest is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, White Birches Mountain Camping Park is a wonderful local campground.
