If you need a spot to stay Deep River Motor Inn is a perfect choice, and let's not forget Bog Brook which is a stream that you may come across while here.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Tenney Mountain, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Newfound Lake. So much exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. If you come at the right time of year, Fowler River offers some glorious whitewater. Lakes? Sure, Newfound Lake is close by. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Wellington State Beach. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Smith River; there's splendid hiking along the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Wellington State Beach. There's whitewater on Halls Brook for all you adrenaline people, and good hiking is available along the Clark Trail. Fun pursuits are abundant; there's always something to please everyone. Wellington State Beach has tremendous outdoors recreation, so you could have a good time during your stay.
Pasquaney Bay is rather near Wellington State Beach; at Wellington State Beach you can observe Sugarloaf. For the period of the summertime months at Wellington State Beach temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Wellington State Beach plunge into the 0's. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Black Brook is near Wellington State Beach and is always a pleasure to pop by; if you came for an overnight stay Blueberry Shores Campground is a magnificent location to camp.

Here at Wellington State Beach there are plenty of folks from Bristol, and you can go for a hike on the Manning Trail. Rogers Ledge is a tremendous place to explore while in the neighborhood; do check out Foster Pond, it's a picturesque lake. Pleasant View Bed & Breakfast is a fine place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Wellington State Beach has to offer, you can camp at Mountain View Christian Camping Area.
Head up to Ragged Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; close by you locate Sanborn Bay.
