Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Go for a hike
on the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail, and a pleasant trip to Silver Creek Meadows is a glorious way to spend an afternoon. Summertime highs at Echo Canyon State Park regularly tend to be in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime
this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Echo Canyon State Park. Camping is available at Chris Flat Campground; don't leave Echo Canyon State Park without first going for a hike along the Silver King Trail.
