Painted Rocks State Park is Slate Creek Campground, and West Fork Dam is gorgeous. You completely have to adore the Bitterroot Range. Blue Joint Bay is near Painted Rocks State Park and is a tremendous place to check out; nearby you hit upon the Castle Rock Trail which is a great
hiking trail. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Bitterroot Range, too tremendous to be true. While you're here at Painted Rocks State Park you can take a hike along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Painted Rocks State Recreation
Campground is a delightful place to camp. Camping is available at Little Boulder Bay Campground; getting to Blue Joint Creek from Painted Rocks State Park is easy. Some close by water includes Little Boulder Creek, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Coal
Ridge Trail. Camping at Painted Rocks State Park is splendid fun, Rombo Creek Campground is a splendid local campground, and the Trapper Peak Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by.
