A visit to Crowder State Park is a great choice when you need to get out. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend South Fabius River. Some of the water nearby flows, like Raccoon Creek, and Lake Wittona Dam is not far at all from Crowder State Park.

A good place to go to near Crowder State Park is Wilson Hollow; Middle Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. Weldon River is a stream that you may bump into while here. Not far from Crowder State Park you obtain some nice water scenery at Crowder Dam.
