the Deerfield Ridge Trail.
If you came for an overnight stay Clarksburg State Park is a good site to camp; if you get bored of Monroe State Forest you could also visit close by Windsor Pond. Camping is available at Shady Pines Campground, and you can run the rapids of Dunbar Brook. Monroe State Forest gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month.

A brilliant place for whitewater paddling near Monroe State Forest is Deerfield River, and Beaver Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out.
A quick visit to Parsonage Brook near Monroe State Forest is a magnificent idea, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deerfield River - West Branch. Smith Brook is next to Monroe State Forest and is always a bliss to have a look at, and Browns Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Going to Monroe State Forest is a magnificent idea when you need to get out of the house.
Monroe State Forest is a delightful site that is popular with people from all over.
