There's so much to do here at Fort Point State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Pines Campground is a delightful place for that, and if you need a site to stay Manor Inn is a wonderful choice. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Fort Point State Park. Fort Point State Park is a great site to camp, Masthead Family Campground is a great site; a trip to Fort Point Cove is always a fine idea. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marsh Stream,   and don't forget to go to Bickmore Point if you're here. At Fort Point State Park during the summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Fort Point State Park night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Whitewater paddling is good on Goose Falls, and Fort Point is not far at all. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Fort Point State Park. Grants Cove is reasonably in the neighborhood of Fort Point State Park. A good site to stop at near Fort Point State Park is Fort Point Ledge, and you must pop by Devereaux Cove when you're here. Don't forget to take a brilliant little spree to Penobscot River; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Mill Pond.
