folks getting here from Hana. Wai'anapanapa State Park is a wet location that gets a great deal of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is June.
On a good day it's a wonderful idea to spend the day at Waikoloa
Beach, and nearby you discover Piloa Bay. After a long day outdoors Hotel Hana-Maui is a good site to spend a night or two, and nothing beats kicking back at Lihoula Beach. Be careful coming to Wai'anapanapa State Park, you might not ever want to return back home again. Paina is rather near Wai'anapanapa State Park; if you came to camp Oheo Campground is a great place to do that.
