| Molokai Forest Reserve. From Pala'au State Park you get a nice panorama of Kauluwai, and taking a little tour to nearby Puwahi is a tremendous idea. Pala'au State Park has wonderful outdoors recreation, so you can have a good time while here.

High temperatures at Pala'au State Park during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 70's; after the sun is
down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Pala'au State Park drop into the 60's. On a beautiful day you get a panorama of Puu Kamoo from Pala'au State Park, and beaches are great and Hoolehua Beach is no exception. You might want to pay a visit to Mokomoko Gulch while you're
here at Pala'au State Park, and the view of stunning Puulelo is tremendous.

State Park, and MAUNA LOA VILLAGE is a good place to get some rest.
If you're here, you might as well stop at Waiakalae Gulch, and dry warm beds await you at Aina Nalu Resort. It's a popular place to travel to for people arriving from Kalaupapa.
