Moccasin Creek State Park, Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia

If you came to camp Permisson Valley Campground is a great site to do that, and glide down the rapids of Moccasin Creek in a kayak. Stay the night at Tallulah
    River Campground; let's not forget Moccasin Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while here. You can run the rapids of Hiwassee River and High Shoals Creek close to Moccasin Creek State Park.
I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Moccasin Creek State
Park. There's so much to do here at Moccasin Creek State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Tate Branch Campground is a good spot for that; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Coleman River. Moccasin Creek State Park is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Mr Bud's Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby, and the view of lovely Falls Mountain is glorious. The high level of precipitation makes Moccasin Creek State Park a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls during March, and  
the driest of the months is October.
You'll meet a lot of folks from Hiawassee here, and you must stop by Moccasin Creek Cove when you're here. There is delightful outdoors recreation at Moccasin Creek State Park, so you could have fun during your stay. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's some flowing water close by, Gomer Branch is a stream you can check out while you're here, and if you come at the right time of year, Tallulah River offers some splendid whitewater.
After a long day outdoors Ridges Resort & Club is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and Lake Burton is a delightful lake nearby. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Moccasin Creek State Park. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's; overnight lows throughout the winter for Moccasin Creek State Park tend to be in the 20's. Moccasin Creek State Park is a common place to spend time for the populace of Hiawassee.
