Cloudland Canyon State Park is right next door to Miller Lake Dam which is a wonderful spot beyond doubt worth taking a look at; an afternoon playing golf at Big Sandy Golf Club is always a diversion. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Cloudland Canyon State Park has it all. Take a side visit to Sitton Gulch Creek; a wonderful spot to camp here at Cloudland Canyon State Park is Look Out Mountain Koa Kampground. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Cloudland Canyon State Park has to offer. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Daniel Creek, and Miller Lake is a tremendous lake close by. Glide down the rapids of Bear Creek in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Cloudland Canyon State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Lookout Mountain/Chattanooga West KOA is a great spot for that. You'll locate a lovely lake called Lookout Lake near Cloudland Canyon State Park, and at Cloudland Canyon State Park you always meet someone from Trenton. Trenton Days Inn is a great place to get some rest, and Getter Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Near Cloudland Canyon State Park you find the Skyuka Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and do take a look at Waterfall Branch if you're here at Cloudland Canyon State Park. Why not visit Gross Lake Dam while you're here; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Gulf Creek. Cloudland Canyon State Park is a wonderful wilderness region where everybody has a great time. Cloudland Canyon State Park is a wet site that gets a lot of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain; October is when it's the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Cloudland Canyon State Park, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Cloudland Canyon State Park all through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 20's.
