A round of golf at nearby Southridge Golf Course is a delightful way to kill some time; if you've had enough of Hontoon Island State Park, Dade Lake is nearby. Hontoon Island State Park has gorgeous nature scenery for your viewing comfort. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Hontoon Island State Park. Visit Hontoon Dead River if you're here at Hontoon Island State Park, and Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Hontoon Island State Park. Nearby lakes? Sure, Jack Lake is near Hontoon Island State Park, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Orange City. A swamp like Botts Creek   near Hontoon Island State Park has lots of out of the ordinary things to see, and you can stay the night at Hontoon Island State Park. Don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Shell Creek, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Orange City here. Snake Creek is a brilliant location to go to, and if you need a place to stay 1876 Heritage Inn is a delightful choice. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ORANGE CITY is a great place to spend a night or two; Hontoon Island State Park is a nice place to camp, Highbanks Marina and Camp Resort is a nice place. Going to Hontoon Island State Park is a fine idea when you have to spend some time in the great outdoors. All through the long summer days highs here at Hontoon Island State Park get into the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's; nighttime lows in the 40's for Hontoon Island State Park. At Hontoon Island State Park you find lots of outdoors recreation, so you may enjoy yourself while you're here. For you golfers we recommend close by Victoria Hills Golf Club, obviously you could also go to The Lagoon since you're here; it's not far at all. The high level of precipitation makes Hontoon Island State Park a pretty wet site; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while December is typically the driest month. There's so much to do here at Hontoon Island State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Clark Family Campground is a tremendous site for that, and playing golf is lots of fun at Debary Golf & Country Club.
