  25% of the 88 acres of skiable area at Powder Ridge consist of hard trails. But there are great trails for kids and learners as well; 75% of the trails are beginner and intermediate. There's a total of 5 good ski lifts at nearby ski resort Powder Ridge. Powder Ridge has 5 feet of white snow annually, has a drop of 500 feet, and 19 trails. About 25% of the trails covering the 51 acres of skiable territory at Mount Southington are tough while 75% of the trails are beginner and intermediate. Skiers like Mount Southington; it's a great ski mountain. Mount
    Southington, the nearby ski mountain has 8 lifts and gets covered by 7 feet of wonderful snow yearly on its 14 trails. The vertical drop is 425 feet at Mount Southington. Powder Ridge has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and you can take a little visit to Dooley Pond Dam while
you're here at Wadsworth Falls State Park. Pistol Point Bar is a fine spot to look at; a great swamp next to Wadsworth Falls State Park is Durham Meadows. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place.
