There's some flowing water nearby, Lyman Meadow Brook is a stream you can go to while you're here, and if you need a place to stay Crowne Plaza Hotel HARTFORD-CROMWELL is a good choice.

heaps of amusing stuff to do right next door to Wadsworth Falls State Park. The peak of West Long Hill can be seen from Wadsworth Falls State Park; dry warm beds await you at Inn At Middletown. A lake close by is Adder Reservoir, and if you came to camp Camp Eagle Feather is a pleasant location to do that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Beseck Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Laurel Brook Reservoir Dam is a gorgeous place.
Enjoy a round of golf at Hunter Memorial Golf Course not far from Wadsworth Falls State Park, and of course Hans Brook flows through this area. After a long day outdoors Passport Inn and Suites Middletown is a good site to spend a night or two. There are scores of exciting endeavors for everybody.
Why not have a look at Dooley Pond Dam while you're here, and drift down the rapids of Roaring Brook River in a kayak. The top of Cherry Hill is easily made out from Wadsworth Falls State Park, and a golf course nearby is Indian Springs Golf Club. Wadsworth Falls State Park is a wonderful location for a trip when you need to get out.

Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Wadsworth Falls State Park. A short visit to Ward Spring is always worthwhile; right next door to Wadsworth Falls State Park you hit upon a golf course called Miner Hills Golf Course & Driving Range. A lovely lake like Mount Higby Reservoir next to Wadsworth Falls State Park is a pleasant spot to have a look at, and good hiking is available along the Washington Trail.
The scenery at Starr Mill Pond Dam close to Wadsworth Falls State Park is wonderful, and you can hit the slopes at Powder Ridge in the neighborhood. At Wadsworth Falls State Park you can catch a sight of Long Hill, and you'll meet a lot of people from Rockfall here. There is fine outdoors recreation at Wadsworth Falls State Park, so you may have a heap of fun.
