Hurd State Park, Connecticut   Summertime highs at Hurd State Park generally tend to be in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. At Hurd State Park you can make out Scovill Rock, and if you came to camp Markham Meadows Campgrounds is a great location to do that. A visit to Hurd State Park is a good selection when you have to spend some time in the outdoors. Camping at Little City Campground is always a delightful experience, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Hurd Brook. While you're here at Hurd State Park you will meet lots of folks from nearby East Hampton, and obviously, this is a wonderful area for people who like lakes, Great Hill Pond is a lake close by. Just can't get enough of Hurd State Park. If the weather is wonderful,   you get a splendid view of Split Rock from Hurd State Park, and hey, Axelson Brook is a pleasant local stream. Hog Hill can be distinguished from Hurd State Park. Lakes are tremendous; Supples Pond is a lake that's near Hurd State Park. Dry warm beds await you at Inn At Middletown, and a perfect spot for whitewater paddling is Salmon River. So much fun stuff to do at Hurd State Park, so little time. The peak of Big Hill can be seen from Hurd State Park, and golf can be played at Quarry Ridge Golf Course. It's a popular place to travel to for the populace of East Hampton. Lots of precipitation falls at Hurd State Park; most of the rain falls all through May; February is when it's the driest. Roaring Brook River is a nice whitewater spot close to Hurd State Park, and why not visit close by Pocotopaug Creek since you're here at Hurd State Park. Hurd State Park is a pretty segment of wilderness where everyone has a glorious time. There is glorious outdoors recreation at Hurd State Park that you could employ. A tremendous spot to explore near Hurd State Park is Rock Landing Bar, and unsurprisingly Hubbard Brook is a pretty stream that is worth a visit. There are lots of enjoyable things to do to gratify everyone. A brilliant place to camp here at Hurd State Park is Wolf's Den Family Campground, and if you've had enough of Hurd State Park, Bell Shop Pond is nearby. The grandiose beauty of Hurd State Park is there for you to take pleasure in. But wait, there's more to do close to Hurd State Park.
