There is so much fun stuff to do for young and old to take pleasure in. Colt Spring Campground is a great campground here, and the slopes of Monarch are so inviting nobody can resist. There is splendid outdoors recreation at San Isabel National Forest, so you can have a load of fun. Chrysolite Mountain is charming and can be seen from San Isabel National Forest, and do take a hike on the Fooses Creek Trail. It's a popular place to get away to for folks arriving from Sargents. If you came for an overnight stay Mirror Lake Campground is a fine location to camp, and a lake nearby is Grizzly Lake. Hiking along the Texas Creek Trail is wonderful fun, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Upper Pomeroy Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. A trip to San Isabel National Forest is a good selection when you have to get out. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Camping is available at Garfield Campground, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Billings Lake is one of those nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to San Isabel National Forest, and all through the night it cools down to the 30's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's while San Isabel National Forest overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-20's.
