I ride the BART to Daly City, then take my bike out to Thornton State Beach, and it is a wonderful place. Lots of open space, the beach is relaxing, and often times there are people riding horses. I highly reccomend this place if you are stuck in a major city and need an escape. Says I love Thornton State Beach
