Thornton State Beach, California

| | I ride the BART to Daly City, then take my bike out to Thornton State Beach, and it is a wonderful place. Lots of open space, the beach is relaxing, and often times there are people riding horses. I highly reccomend this place if you are stuck in a major city and need an escape. It's a popular place to go to for the people of Daly City. While you're here at Thornton State Beach you can play some golf at Gleneagles International Golf Course; Days Inn San Francisco At The Beach is a perfect location to get some rest. |

State Beach, so you may have loads of fun. Seal Rocks Beach is right next door to Thornton State Beach if you're in a beach type of mood, and Thornton State Beach is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Battery Mendell Campground is a wonderful local campground. High temperatures
at Thornton State Beach through the days of summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's, and night lows at Thornton State Beach through the winter mostly dip into the 30's.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything
Thornton State Beach has to offer, you can camp at Pacific Park RV Resort; if you're looking for a tremendous tour, Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail is relatively near. Thornton State Beach has stunning nature scenery for you to like. Thornton State Beach regularly
gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month of the year is July.

here at Thornton State Beach and you like golf, you can pop by Cypress Golf Course, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PACIFICA is a perfect site to get some rest.
If you came to camp Kirby Cove Campground is a delightful spot to do that, and you'll in all probability meet
some people from Daly City here. Sharp Park Golf Course is a great golf course close by, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn Pacifica is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. On a lovely day you can have a look at Phillip Burton Memorial Beach near Thornton
State Beach; if you need a place to stay Best Western Lighthouse Hotel is a perfect choice.
Near Thornton State Beach you hit upon a golf course called Harding Park Golf Course, and a spree to Ocean Beach is always a perfect idea. If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn San Francisco Daly City CA is a splendid choice; a round of golf at nearby Presidio Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time.
