All the outdoors cool stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back time and again. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but
if it's for you then we recommend San Joaquin River, and a nice location like Hells Half Acre here at Sierra National Forest is too brilliant to miss. There are so many cool things to do for everyone.
Summertime at Sierra National Forest comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and overnight lows at Sierra National Forest all through the wintertime generally dip into the 20's. Forest. Don’t forget to visit Mill Creek Meadow since you're here at Sierra National Forest, and if you came for an overnight stay Little Jackass Campground is a wonderful site to camp. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. A perfect location to camp here at Sierra National Forest is China Bar Campground, and camping is available at McCreary Meadow Campground.
At Sierra National Forest you find plenty of outdoors recreation, so you can have a good time during your stay. You'll meet a lot of folks from Lakeshore here, and camping at West Kaiser Campground is always a good experience. Going to Sierra National Forest is a great idea when you have to get out of the house.
