There's so much to do here at Klamath National Forest that you need to camp here for a while, Elk Creek Campground & Recreational Vehicle Park is a perfect spot for that; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Elk Creek.

The warmest time of the year at Klamath National Forest arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Klamath National Forest temperatures plunge to the 30's.
