Visit Allen Creek while you're here at Humboldt Redwoods State Park; a pleasant forest nearby is Morton Grove.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Do set aside some time for Horse Prairie while you're here at Humboldt Redwoods State Park, and a wooded region nearby is Ritzer Grove. Albee Creek Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and there's whitewater on Eel River for all you thrill seekers. At Humboldt Redwoods State Park you find heaps of outdoors recreation that you can take advantage of.
