Fremont Peak State Park
|
| | Some of the facts are Wrong!!! However I love Fremont Peak State Park, there is a great 360 view of Monterey Bay, Salinas, Hollister, and San Juan Bautista. At Night from the top of the peak you can watch the sun set over the sea, and watch the glow of the city lights slowly appear in the horizon. Fremont Peak State Park also has an amazing Observatory that offers free public programs, where you can view the stars from a 30in telescope. And for those of you who dont know about telescopes, the telescope is measured by the width of the lens, so the telescope |

that is at Fremont Peak has a 30in wide lens. Needless to say the telescope is huge. The wildlife is breath taking, on a warm sunny day you can see different types of lizards as well as the occasional Rattlesnake. There are Deer, Foxes, Bobcats and more. This is an amazing State
| Park that has a lot to offer... Says Davis
You might want to pay a visit to Azalea Canyon while you're here at Fremont Peak State Park. There's some flowing water nearby, Jamieson Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay. | |
