  Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Santa Cruz Mountains is so good! Lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Little Lagoon right next door to Butano State Park, and don't forget to take a magnificent little journey to Old Womans Creek. And if that's not enough there's a heap more cool stuff to do in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Butano State Park is a location with many visitors from Loma Mar, and camping at Big Basin Tent Cabins is always a nice experience. At Butano State Park you find a heap of outdoors recreation, so you could have a
    heap of fun.
Take a hike on the Sequoia Nature Trail. There's so much to do here at Butano State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA is a pleasant place for that. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. South Fork Butano Creek
is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out, and if you came to camp Costanoa Resort is a fine place to do that. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Camping is available at Blooms Creek Campground, and one of the best things about this location is its proximity to Arroyo De Los Frijoles Beach.
Through the summertime months at Butano State Park temperatures are typically in the 60's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's,
 
and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Butano State Park drop into the 40's. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Butano State Park. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pescadero Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Pescadero Creek Inn. After a long day outdoors Costanoa is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Butano State Park; Ano Nuevo Trail is a brilliant local trail.
Butano State Park is a common place to spend time for folks coming from Loma Mar. The prettiness of Butano State Park is there for you to enjoy. There are scores of fun pastimes for everybody.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Butano Ridge Loop Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Butano State Park has to offer, you can camp at Butano State Park. A normal amount of rain falls here at Butano State Park; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Butano State Park is right by the Coyote Ridge Trail; Butano Falls is an inspiring place to stop at while here.
During your stay at Butano State Park do stop at close by Sand Beach; time spent at Pomponio Beach is always great. Butano State Park is a delightful wilderness area where everybody has a great time. Butano State Park is a delightful place for a spree when you have to get out of the house.
A pretty lake like Bean Hollow Lake in close proximity to Butano State Park is a glorious place to stop at; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Summit Trail.
