Dollar Reservoir is a delightful lake close to Burton Creek State Park, and beaches are magnificent and Moondunes Beach is no exception. Going to Burton Creek State Park is a wonderful idea when you have to spend some time in the great outdoors. Visit Burton Creek since you're here at Burton Creek State Park, and Burton Creek State Park is not far at all from Tahoe City. Everybody close by loves skiing at Squaw Valley, and Burton Creek State Park is a good location to visit for more than one day, Village Green Mobile Home Park is a good location to camp nearby.   Fun pastimes are plentiful; there's always something to gratify everybody. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Burton Creek State Park. There are other sites here than Burton Creek State Park, for example Lake Tahoe, and Alpine Meadow Campground is a nice local campground. Throughout the summer months at Burton Creek State Park highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Burton Creek State Park. A brilliant nearby hotel is Northstar-At-Tahoe; Homewood is a perfect local ski area. Burton Creek State Park has beautiful nature scenery for your viewing comfort. Burton Creek State Park is a good place of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow while July is usually the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Burton Creek State Park. If you need a site to stay Resort At Squaw Creek is a great choice, and Antone Meadows is a pleasant location here at Burton Creek State Park. Near Burton Creek State Park you find the Granite Chief Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; a good close by hotel is Pepper Tree Inn. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Dry warm beds await you at Granlibakken Lodge and Conference Center, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Northstar at Tahoe is quite near. If you came for an overnight stay Sandy Beach Campground is a good site to camp, and the snow is tremendous at Granlibakken. Why not camp at Bear Creek Campground since you're here at Burton Creek State Park, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Patton Beach. Go for a hike on the General Creek Trail; going for a hike on the Big Spring Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Lake Tahoe Dam is worth checking out since you're here, and perfect hiking is available along the Five Lakes Creek Trail. Burton Creek State Park is a popular destination for folks from Tahoe City.
