Andrew Molera State Park is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Launtz Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Wreck Beach. If you come at the right time of year, Big Sur River offers some perfect whitewater; a pleasant journey to Coyote Flat is a splendid way to spend an afternoon. At Andrew Molera State Park during the summer highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Andrew Molera State Park temperatures drop to the 40's. A journey to Andrew Molera State Park is a delightful selection when you've gotta get out.
