     The Blue Mountains is located in Oregon and Washington and it has plenty of outdoors fun. The Blue Mountains covers about 13400 square miles. Of all the peaks in this range Elkhorn Mountains is the tallest at 9108 feet, Rock Creek Butte, Strawberry Mountain, Rabbit Ears, and Elkhorn
 Peak are some of the other high peaks. Campgrounds are plentyful in these mountains where you can spend the night in nature. In this mountain range you will always have a good time. These mountains have a good forest coverage. These mountains include a number of subranges including Aldrich Mountains, Gage Range, Greenhorn Mountains, Ochoco Mountains, and Strawberry Range all of them are beautiful. The Blue Mountains has some good whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Grande Ronde River and John Day River - North Fork where you can spend some time
    on the water. This is such a fun mountain range. There are many beautiful lakes and streams in these mountains where you can catch a fish or two. This range has lots of hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. These mountains have a few good ski areas including
Bluewood and Spout Springs, where you can enjoy these mountains in winter.
