Mesa Verde, Colorado

     Menefee Mountain with 8824 feet is the tallest mountain in this range, not as high but also impressive are Weber Mountain, Navajo Hill, Whites Mesa, and Big Mesa. The Mesa Verde is located in Colorado and New Mexico. The area covered by this range is about 1000 square miles. This
 mountain range is a wonderful place to visit. San Juan River is a good whitewater kayaking and rafting river in these mountains, a bit of paddling is always fun. This is a great mountain range. Hesperus Ski Center is a good ski area in the Mesa Verde, where you can spend some time on the slopes. These mountains have lots of nice lakes and streams where you can catch a fish or two. This range has lots of hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you.
