Sawatch Range, Colorado      Of all the Sawatch Range peaks, Mount Elbert is the tallest at 14433 feet, Mount Massive, Mount Harvard, La Plata Peak, and Mount Antero are some of the other high peaks. The Sawatch Range covers about 3200 square miles. The Sawatch Range is located in Colorado and has so many   things you can do. These mountains have many great whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Arkansas River, Clear Creek, Eagle River, Fryingpan River, Homestake Creek, Lake Creek, and Roaring Fork where you can spend some time on the water. These mountains have lots of good hotels where you can stay in comfort. There are many hiking trails in this range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
