Absaroka Range, Wyoming

     The Absaroka Range is located in Wyoming and Montana and is loaded with outdoors fun. Of all the peaks in these mountains Francs Peak is the tallest at 13153 feet, other high peaks are Granite Peak, Castle Mountain, Jojo Mountain, and Whitetail Peak. This range covers an area
 of approximately 8800 square miles. This range is made up of a number of smaller ranges including Absaroka Range, Absaroka Range, Beartooth Mountains, Granite Range, Ishawooa Hills, The Palisades, and The Trident all of them are beautiful. These mountains have several good whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Boulder River, Clarks Fork Yellowstone, Crandall Creek, Greybull River, Rock Creek, Rosebud Creek - East, Shoshone River, and Stillwater River, a bit of paddling is always fun. These mountains have lots of nice lakes and streams where you
    can catch a fish or two. There are plenty of campgrounds in these mountains where you can pitch a tent or park your RV. This mountain range is so wonderful. The Absaroka Range has lots of hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. This mountain
