This range includes a number of subranges including Cold Springs Mountains, Cuddy Mountains, High Breaks, Hitt Mountains, Hitt Mountains, Seven Devils Mountains, and Wallowa Mountains all of them are beautiful. This is a really good mountain range. The Wallowa Mountains has a few good whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Salmon River, Snake River, and Wildhorse River, a bit of paddling is always fun. Campgrounds are plentyful in the Wallowa Mountains where you can pitch a tent or park your RV. This is such a wonderful mountain range. |
Hiking trails are all over the Wallowa Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. The Wallowa Mountains has lots of nice lakes and streams where you can catch a fish or two.
