     The area covered by the Olympic Mountains is about 12900 square miles. The Olympic Mountains is in Washington and is loaded with outdoors fun. Of all the peaks in this range Mount Olympus is the tallest at 7969 feet, other high peaks are Mount Deception, East Peak, Mount Mystery,
 and Mount Clark. The Olympic Mountains has lots of good hotels where it's always comfortable to stay. If you're camping there's lots of campgrounds here in these mountains where you can spend the night in nature. If you come to this mountain range you will have a good time for sure. In the Olympic Mountains there are many pretty forests. This range has several good whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Baker Creek, Big Creek, Big Quilcene River, Bogachiel River, Calawah River, Canyon River - Satsop Tributary, Cedar Creek, Chehalis River, Christmas
    Creek, being out on a river is a great place to be. Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is a good ski area in these mountains, where you can spend some time on the slopes. These mountains have lots of nice lakes and streams where you can kick back and watch the water. Lots of fun awaits
you in this mountain range. There are many hiking trails in the Olympic Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. This range is made up of a number of smaller ranges including Bailey Range, Black Hills, Black Hills, Doty Hills, Elwha River Range, Olympic Mountains, Quilcene Range, The Foothills, and Willapa Hills each one of them has its own charm.
