     The tallest peak in this range is North Palisade at 14242 feet, not as high but also impressive are Mount Sill, Polemonium Peak, Split Mountain, and Middle Palisade. This range is in California and has so many things you can do. The Central Sierra Nevada covers an area of about
 10500 square miles. In the Central Sierra Nevada there are many pretty forests. This mountain range is always fun. This range includes a number of subranges including Balls, Bodie Hills, Bodie Mountains, Brawley Peaks, Cathedral Range, Chowchilla Mountains, Clark Range, Desert Creek Mountains, Gravel Range, New Range all of them are beautiful. This mountain range is so perfect. There are many hiking trails in this range, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. There are a number of good ski resorts in the Central Sierra Nevada including Badger
    Pass, Dodge Ridge, June Mountain, Mammoth Mountain, and Sierra Summit, good for skiing and snowboarding. Campgrounds are plentyful in this range where you can pitch a tent or park your RV. There are plenty of great hotels in these mountains where you can stay in comfort. These
mountains have many great whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Big Creek, Cherry Creek - West Fork, Chowchilla River, Clavey River, Coarse Gold Creek, Dinkey Creek, Fresno River, Kings River, Little Dry Creek, Merced River, a bit of paddling is always fun. The Central Sierra Nevada has lots of nice lakes and streams where you can kick back and watch the water.
