Chugach Mountains, Alaska      This range is located in Alaska and has so many things you can do. Of all the peaks in this range Mount Saint Elias is the tallest at 18008 feet, not as high but also impressive are Mount Vancouver, Mount Fairweather, Mount Hubbard, and Mount Augusta. The Chugach Mountains covers   about 69700 square miles. The Chugach Mountains has several good whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Bird Creek, Bremner River, Browns Creek, Carlson Creek, Copper River, Eagle River, Glacier River, Gold Creek, Lemon Creek, Lowe River, Mendenhall River where you can spend some time on the water. This mountain range is a great place to visit. There are plenty of great hotels in the Chugach Mountains where it's always comfortable to stay. This range has lots of hiking trails where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
