The Wrangell Mountains is in Alaska. Mount Bona with 16500 feet is the tallest mountain in the Wrangell Mountains, Mount Blackburn, Mount Sanford, Mount Churchill, and Mount Bear are some of the other high peaks. The area covered by these mountains is about 17100 square miles.

These mountains have many great whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Cheshnina River, Chetaslina River, Chitina River, Gilahina River, Jacksina River, Kennicott River, Kotsina River, Kuskulana River, Lakina River, McCarthy Creek, a bit of paddling is always fun. This is a really good mountain range. This is such a wonderful mountain range.
