Southern Cascade Range, Oregon      This range is in Oregon and California and is full of fun things to do. Mount Shasta with 14162 feet is the tallest peak in these mountains, Misery Hill, Shastina, Shastarama Point, and Lassen Peak are some of the other high peaks. The area covered by this range is about 21400   square miles. This range has lots of nice lakes and streams where you can kick back and watch the water. Campgrounds are plentyful in the Southern Cascade Range where you can spend the night in nature. There are plenty of great hotels in this range where you can stay in comfort. The Southern Cascade Range has many nice forests. Lots of fun awaits you in this mountain range. These mountains are made up of a number of smaller ranges including Bald Hills, Big Valley Mountains, Canby Mountains, Clear Lake Hills, Grampian Hills, Grassy Range, Hagerhorst Mountains,     Panhandle Hills, Rogue River Range each one of them has its own charm. This range has many great whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Battle Creek, Bear Creek, Big Butte Creek, Jackson Creek, Jenny Creek, Klamath River, McCloud River, Pit River, Rogue River - North Fork, Trask River, and Umpqua River - South where you can spend some time on the water. In this mountain range you will never have a bad time. There are many hiking trails in the Southern Cascade Range, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains.
