Ozarks, Missouri

     These mountains cover roughly 35200 square miles. This range is located in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma and is full of fun things to do. Gaither Mountain with 2140 feet is the tallest mountain in the Ozarks, Black Mountain, Kennedy Mountain, Round Mountain, and Waldrop Mountain
 are some of the other high peaks. The Ozarks has lots of nice lakes and streams where you can catch a fish or two. Campgrounds are plentyful in these mountains where you can pitch a tent or park your RV. Hiking trails are all over the Ozarks where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. These mountains have many great whitewater kayaking and rafting rivers including Big Creek, Black River, Brewers Creek, Carver Creek, Castor River, Crane Pond Creek, Crooked Creek, Flint Creek, Illinois River, Kings River, Little Rock Creek, being out
    on a river is a great place to be. There are plenty of great hotels in this range where it's always comfortable to stay. This mountain range have so much to offer. This mountain range is so wonderful. Hidden Valley is a good ski area in the Ozarks, good for skiing and snowboarding.
The Ozarks has a good forest coverage. These mountains are made up of a number of smaller ranges including Beckett Hills, Byrd Hills, Coal Bank Hills, Cold Water Hills, Crescent Hills, Dove Mountains, Finleys Mountains, Goose Pond Hills, Greasy Hills, Mine Hills each one of them has its own charm.
