A magnificent spot in close proximity to Sixteenth Street Reservoir is Klingle Valley, and after a long day outdoors The Intown Uptown Inn is a fine site to spend a night or two. Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek. Put some time aside to spend at Jumpin' Jack Spring while you're here at Sixteenth Street
Reservoir, and why not camp at Cherry Hill Park while you're here at Sixteenth Street Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Sixteenth Street Reservoir, you'll stumble on Carp Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and Sixteenth
Street Reservoir is right by the Valley Trail. Throughout the months of summer at Sixteenth Street Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's; the overnight is a little colder of course, typically in the 60's. For the period of the
winter highs are in the 40's; night lows in the 20's for Sixteenth Street Reservoir. Harmony Place Trailer Park is a tremendous local campground. Hiking along the White Horse Trail is great fun, and the sights at Greenbelt Park
will blow your mind. Sixteenth Street Reservoir gets a common amount of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
