There's whitewater on Rock Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and as expected Rock Creek flows through this neighborhood. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Reflecting Pool, so little time. Near Reflecting Pool you hit upon a golf course called Greendale Golf Course, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Babcock Lakes is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful.       There's so much to do here at Reflecting Pool that you need to camp here for a while, Cherry Hill Park is a good location for that; nearby you locate the Swamp Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Just can't get enough of Reflecting Pool. A trip to Fort Washington Park is worthwhile, and after a long day outdoors Hotel Lombardy is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. All through the warm months here at Reflecting Pool, high temperatures                  usually get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Reflecting Pool. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Reflecting Pool has to offer, you can camp at Harmony Place Trailer Park, and nearby Rock Creek Valley is a pleasant site to go. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Upland Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and The St. Regis Washington, D.C. is a great place to get some rest. The friendly folks of Washington-Arlington-Alexandria like to hang out nearby; you should have a look at Gravelly Point when you're here. A journey to Caffreys Spring will fill your soul with tremendous feelings; Cherry Hill is clearly visible from Reflecting Pool. There's always Pentagon Lagoon Yacht Basin to take a look at in close proximity to Reflecting Pool, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Carp Pond is just a very short distance away. Reflecting Pool is a good spot of normal precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February.
