Kingman Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A visit to Federal Spring will fill your soul with pleasant feelings, and if you're visiting from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, you won't be the only one. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Kingman Lake has it all. Piney Run is a stream that you may bump into while here, and camping at Cherry Hill Park is always a great experience. Going
for a hike along the Swamp Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; do pay a visit to Fort Washington Park if you're here at Kingman Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along
the Valley Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WASHINGTON- NATL ARBORETUM.

May, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. On a beautiful day you get a panorama of Good Hope Hill from Kingman Lake; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Anacostia River - Northwest Branch.
