There's great hiking along the Swamp Trail, and High Service Reservoir is pleasant enough       to spend more than a day at, Cherry Hill Park is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave High Service Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Upland Trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Washington-Georgetown, Dc is a good site to spend a night or two. A splendid place to pop by near High Service Reservoir is Klingle Valley, and dry warm beds await you at Hotel Monticello. High temperatures at High Service Reservoir                  during the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 40's with temperatures at High Service Reservoir dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Fort Washington Park is a tremendous local destination here at High Service Reservoir; do check out Babcock Lakes, it's a wonderful lake. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy High Service Reservoir. A charming lake like Carp Pond near High Service Reservoir is a great place to take a look at; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Rock Creek. For you golfers we recommend nearby Greendale Golf Course; during your visit here you'll meet some people from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria for sure. Hiking is a popular thing to do around High Service Reservoir; Rock Creek Park Bike Trail is a great local trail; if you came to camp Harmony Place Trailer Park is a nice place to do that. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time.
