There's some flowing water close by, Donaldson Run is a stream you can stop at while here, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Bathing Beach. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Georgetown Reservoir is so good! Good hiking is available along the Upland Trail; Georgetown Reservoir is close to The Potomac Gorge which is certainly worth stopping at.       This lake is so wonderful. At Georgetown Reservoir you can see Mackeys Hill; going to Fort Washington Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Rock Creek Park Bike Trail; High Service Reservoir is a brilliant lake nearby. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff near Georgetown Reservoir will keep you coming back persistently. A splendid place for whitewater paddling near Georgetown Reservoir is Potomac River,                  and if you came to camp Christopher Run Campground is a pleasant place to do that.
