This lake is so wonderful. The great people of Washington-Arlington-Alexandria like to hang out nearby; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the
Rock Creek Park Bike Trail. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do close to First High Reservoir. Near First High Reservoir you find the White Horse Trail which is a great hiking trail, and if you're here, you could also visit scenic
Brightwood Reservoir. The Valley Trail is a nice hiking trail right next door to First High Reservoir; time spent at Bathing Beach is always perfect.
For the period of the warm months at First High Reservoir highs are typically
in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows at First High Reservoir through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 20's. After a long day outdoors Bloomingdale
