Beautiful Dalecarlia Reservoir has much to offer visitors. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. You're probably hooked on lakes, Dalecarlia Reservoir is one of those close by. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Rock Creek, and after a long day outdoors Embassy Suites Hotel Washington, Dc-At The Chevy Chase Pavilion is a nice spot to spend a night or two. Lakes are glorious; Little Falls Reservoir is a lake that's next to Dalecarlia Reservoir, and a good nearby hotel is Courtyard Chevy Chase. go for a hike along the Upland Trail. This lake is so wonderful. People from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria love to come to Dalecarlia Reservoir, and Little Falls Dam has splendid water scenery. Through the summer months highs
here at Dalecarlia Reservoir reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Dalecarlia Reservoir. Dalecarlia Reservoir
gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; all through May this area sees the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Potomac River, and needless to say Little Falls Branch flows through
this region. This lake is so wonderful. The panoramas at Fort Washington Park will blow your mind; if you came for an overnight stay Christopher Run Campground is a delightful location to camp. The Swamp Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Dalecarlia Reservoir, and Harmony Place Trailer Park is a great local campground.
