Residence Inn By Marriott Washington Dc Capitol Hill is a splendid spot to get some rest, and good hiking is available along the Rock Creek Park Bike Trail. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Rock  
   Creek, and if you need a place to stay The Liaison Capitol Hill An Affinia Hotel is a great choice.

Capitol Reflecting Pool is not far at all from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Greendale Golf Course is in the neighborhood. Camping at Harmony Place Trailer Park is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. A short spree to Caffreys Spring is always worthwhile, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Capitol Reflecting Pool; Swamp Trail is a great local trail.
Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Capitol Reflecting Pool. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a glorious sight of Capitol Hill from Capitol Reflecting Pool, and since you're here, you could pop by Anacostia River. This lake is so wonderful. Babcock Lakes is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and Capitol Reflecting Pool is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Cherry Hill Park is a tremendous local campground. If you want to hit the beach, Bathing Beach is in the neighborhood; a trip to Fort Washington Park is worthwhile.

I often take my kids to the park at Greenbelt Lake. The playground is very big and they have a ton of fun. There are things there suitable for all kids ages. We also go around the lake, me running and them riding thier bikes. the trail and lake are beautiful and shaded - which is wonderful during the hot days in the summer....
